DISS Fittings (Female)

 

Description

To minimize the possibility of a user inadvertently or deliberately linking devices to gas sources not approved nor suited for specific uses, the Compressed Gas Association has published specifications for connectors.  These specifications require that both ends match before a connection can be achieved.  To ensure that the proper coupling is made, the mating parts are “keyed” to each other by means of pin index locations or matching thread diameters, sizes and or pitch.  The dangerous practices of using a DISS outlet connection for gases other than for those for which they are designed and/or removing pins from a pin index yoke assembly should not be tolerated.  

Features

DISS Fittings are plated brass with Male or Female National Pipe Threads (NPT).

They are available in 1/8" and 1/4" sizes.

Adapter Fittings are cleaned for oxygen service.
